Peyman Kargar Appointed Director and CEO of TVS Motor Company Effective January 27, 2027

Bengaluru: Peyman Kargar has been appointed Director and Chief Executive Officer of TVS Motor Company, part of TVS VENU and a leading global manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers. Peyman Kargar will take charge as Director and CEO effective January 27, 2027.

Peyman Kargar will succeed K. N. Radhakrishnan, who will continue as Director and Chief Executive Officer until January 27, 2027, to ensure a seamless leadership transition.

Following the transition, Radhakrishnan will serve as Non-Executive Director until the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for July 2027.

The appointment of Peyman Kargar comes as TVS Motor Company prepares for its next phase of growth and innovation while building on its business performance in India and international markets.

In FY2025-26, TVS Motor Company recorded a performance, selling 5.9 million vehicles globally and delivering 30% revenue growth. The company has continued to consolidate its position in India while expanding its global presence.

Peyman Kargar Brings Over Three Decades of Automotive Experience

Peyman Kargar currently serves as President, International Business at TVS Motor Company. He brings more than three decades of global automotive leadership experience across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

During his career, Peyman Kargar has held senior leadership positions with some of the automotive industry’s most recognised global brands.

His experience covers the full automotive value chain, including product development and research and development, manufacturing, quality, sales and marketing.

This experience gives Peyman Kargar significant insight into the factors that drive long-term success in the mobility industry.

Under Peyman Kargar’s leadership, TVS Motor Company’s International Business has become an increasingly important contributor to the company’s global expansion. The business currently contributes 29% of the company’s sales volume and is growing at 33%.

In his new role as CEO, Peyman Kargar will lead TVS Motor Company as it focuses on further expanding its business in India and global markets. The company’s growth strategy will include product innovation, premiumization and expansion into developed markets.

K. N. Radhakrishnan to Continue as CEO Until January 2027

K. N. Radhakrishnan will remain Director and Chief Executive Officer of TVS Motor Company until January 27, 2027, when Peyman Kargar takes over the role.

Following the transition, Radhakrishnan will serve as Non-Executive Director until the ensuing AGM scheduled for July 2027.
